had the best time ever at lake tahoe! if any of you have never been there, go asap. it was a much needed vacation with lots of beach time, some jet skiing, cocktails, and lovely friends! met amazing people and overall had a blast!

i know i keep promising a revamp over and over again, but i'm a horrible blogger!!

so a nice vacation to tahoe this weekend will be a great break =)...then it's off to FiDM next week to start college! i am ecstatic to start but am a bit nervous for all the work. i have to now juggle my job, school, homework, attempting to be a good blogger, and other secret ventures that i will fill everyone in on soon. very very stoked on everything to come!

on another note, beauty guru videos on youtube have given me a huge makeup addiction. i have always loved cosmetics soo much, and i actually even wanted to be a makeup artist early in high school. went to sephora today and did some major damage.

spent a week in SF and had the best time of my life, cannot wait to start FiDM in LA July 8th, have been working my ass off at work to sell sell sell, turned 20 last week, and last but not least enjoying my bitchin summer with my friends and family!

i read an article recently that J Crew was completely revamping their look to be more edgier and trendy...but i didn't want to believe it. completely ok with saying I absolutely love this collection!

also, totally diggin the Hong Kong collection by OPI. ran out to by the "lucky lucky lavender" color today (the first color on the top left). it's more purple than pink in person. dying for the jade green, too.

just some recent shots at the park near my house. i'm loving this weather right now, cause its warm enough to layout and wear a jacket with shorts...but it's not too hot that the global warming has taken over la yet! if it's this warm during spring, this summer will pretty much be scorching. i might have to get some more t by alexander wang tanks to wear as dresses. might get to make it over to arizona this weekend, it would be a great chance to break out my new bathing suit and dress! everyone keep their fingers crossed for me.

had such a good day off today! loved going out to santa monica to my favorite sandwich shop baycities. love their turkey with artichoke hearts and havarti! got super tan through the sunroof haha and then even more tan in my backyard. had a chance to finally read my new issue of harper's bazaar. really enjoyed the mcqueen tribute.

recently i've been seriously obsessed with menswear inspired looks. give me a blazer and some slacks, i'm in heaven. i even ordered my first amazing pair of little black oxfords! came across this holy grail of stylings of the new Theory line, all styled by the top girls like kate young, tina chai, Julia Von Boehm, Annabel Tollman, Isabel Dupre, and best of all my favorite beyond favorite party girl dani stahl! i need to take a little visit to the indiviualist department at my work, where all the theory is. boy.by band of outsiders has also been showing some fabulous mens-type looks. on another note, cannot wait for a break. i've been working days on end, with added drama. lkjsdfldjsfdsj blahhh goodnight loves.

today was one of those days where not much happens, but it is just plain amazing. found some great things while shopping at tjmaxx of all places, laughed a lot, had really good chinese food, and stopped by 7-11. didn't get any candy, sadly. it's funny that on my days off from work, i always make a to-do list, but none of it ever gets done. no laundry or homework or closet organizing was checked off...whoops. i think laughing is more important anyways! and i am in love with everything i found after scouring through the store for over two hours. i cannot wait to wear my new velvet and wood cage heels or the ridiculously fab trench coat i found at the last second. i just love something that only costs $60 but could easily pass for a nice designer jacket. i can't wait so it might just be part of my school outfit for tomorrow! now unfortunately, i must finish my english assignments due in the morning.

Balmain has to be one of my absolute favorites. if I could wear one thing everyday I really think it would be a sparkly amazing one-armed mini dress. I mean, who doesn't feel like the sexiest girl in the world donning this piece?? basically amazement at its best.

Ohh Sex and the City movie, you always get me every time. The incredible jaw dropping fashion, the crazy intense love stories, and most of all NYC. Seriously if my Fashion Institute of Technology acceptance letter doesn't come soon, I'm going to move out there and sit on the admissions front steps until they accept me! Seriously amazing blog shoots would come out of New York as well: flirty little dresses in Central Park, some 5-inch stilettos on the Met steps, even a cute knit sweater and some ripped jeans at the Chelsea Market. But for now, you'll all have to settle with some sunny southern Cali pictures.

So I'm home after a few wonderful days in Arizona. Sadly it was never hot enough to lay out, but I did eat lots of amazing food. Now I'm back to LA where the rain is horrible and it's pretty freezing. Oh well, maybe I'll have to sit by the fire all day tomorrow in some fur and relax. Back to work on Tuesday! So...it's my first real post, and I've been dying to try a bright red lip. After about forty five minutes with my amazing makeup artist at the Nordstrom Chanel counter, Shannan finally matched this Chanel Dragon lip stain to my skin color without looking like a cheap hooker or clown. This was a pretty hard task, but I'm proud to say I adore the results. From someone who isn't too glamorous or made up all the time, it's fun to throw on a little fur, some stilettos, and some outrageous lip color. It just puts a kick into my step.
